Back From Nowhere

They say a blogger should never acknowledge how long it's been since their last post. However, when it's been five years, well it's been five years. That's hard to comprehend.

To be honest I had forgotten for a while that I started this blog. It was started out of frustration and a need to vent, combined with a drive to inform and help others going through similar problems. I found though that I quickly reverted back to closing myself off, living in my own head and not discussing it much with anyone. I have tried different and new things over the last five years, though. I have found a few new ways of dealing, and have found what is mostly - more times than not - an okay balance of diet, meds, and pacing of activity that allows me to maintain a degree of normalcy. I'll talk more about what I've found in coming posts, which should be much closer together now than five years.

For a quick list of topics of things to come:
-Arguing with arrogant doctors
-Experimenting with foods and drinks
-Pacing the days away
-More research and narrowing it down (I may not have the exact condition I thought I had, it turns out. And no thanks to doctors, I may have found a way to treat myself, symptomatically.)
-Learning to live again

So, if you follow along over the next few weeks or months I'll be posting about all of those topics and more as I intend to turn this more into a sounding board for random thoughts on the matter. A public diary of my situation, I guess you could say, which is what a blog really should be I suppose.

Happy reading, welcome back, or welcome for a first if you're just finding this. See you soon.
